Description
Following on from the sell-out success of our outdoor 'A Midsummer Night's Dream', we are delighted to bring more Shakespeare fun to audiences with SHAKESPEARE SHENANIGANS.
"A plague on both your houses"
What have you done in lockdown? Taken up a new hobby? Reminisced about the good old days? Enjoyed a drink but sometimes overindulged? Been bored? Faced a difficult time but overcome it? Applauded the work of others? Considered the wider world?
Then lend an ear to what Shakespeare can tell us about these times, in the company of Falstaff, Iago, Macbeth, those Witches, Beatrice, Benedick, Cleopatra, Hamlet and more.
This will be an outdoor production at St Michael's Mount, Byker and Holy Trinity Church, Jesmond. Plus indoor performances at Newcastle Castle and Wylam Brewery.
Performances start at 7pm and will last approx. 90 minutes.
Please bring your own seating for St Michaels Mount and Holy Trinity Church.
Please bring refreshments if you wish.
No toilets are available at the venues where the performance is outdoors or at Newcastle Castle.
These performances are free to attend but you must book a ticket.
