The Foyer Gallery

The current exhibition is | Helen Rowlands: A Journey of Hope

until 21st February 2025

Helen started photography in 2020, while she was struggling with severe mental health issues and a recent PTSD diagnosis.

She was soon shortlisted for the Northern Photography Prize and an international competition.

Street, landscape and wedding photography have become passions for Helen, and this exhibition showcases photos from her favourite North East locations, documenting her journey from darkness into light.

VISITING THE FOYER GALLERY

The exhibition can be viewed:

During the day when the Box Office is open*, and on performance nights from the hour before the performance starts (see What's On for dates)

*Daytime opening hours are usually Monday to Thursday 10.30am-2pm (Monday-Friday 10.30am-1pm on a show week) but please check the latest Box Office opening times to make sure it is open the day you're planning to visit.

Please note, the Foyer Gallery shares its space with the 'Cherry and Bee' baby group on Mondays until 1pm, and with our Coffee and Cake Morning on Wednesdays.
